Bahrain has accused Yemen’s Houthis of killing two of its troopers in a drone strike close to the Saudi border.
Bahrain is a part of the Saudi-led coalition, that has fought the Houthis since 2015.
Saudi Arabia is looking Monday’s incident a provocation and is threatening to reply.
A Houthis spokesman says the Saudi-led coalition has killed a number of Yemeni troopers up to now month, and calls the violations ‘regrettable’
Final week, Saudi and Houthi officers held a spherical of talks in Riyadh on a possible settlement to finish the battle in Yemen.
Saudi Arabia stated some progress was made through the conferences gave no additional particulars.
