New Delhi [India], September 27 (ANI): The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, an autonomous organisation beneath the Ministry of Ayush, concluded its five-day certificates course, “AYURFARM 2025: Cultivation and Propagation of Ayurveda Herbs,” on Saturday, in accordance with an official assertion from the Ministry of Ayush.
The occasion was organized by the Division of Dravyaguna from September 22 to 26, 2025, this system was a part of the Ayurveda Day 2025 celebrations.
The Inaugural Session was graced by Dr. Sameer Sinha, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Uttarakhand, who emphasised the necessity for conservation of forest sources and sustainable use of medicinal vegetation. The Visitor of Honour, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Sanwal, IFS, Former Deputy CEO, Nationwide Medicinal Plant Board, Ministry of Ayush, highlighted the significance of coverage frameworks and cultivation methods to strengthen the availability chain of high quality medicinal vegetation.
The Valedictory Session was addressed by Dr. Mayaram Uniyal, a senior Ayurvedic scholar, who burdened the significance of integrating classical Ayurvedic knowledge with fashionable agronomical practices.
A complete of 27 members from throughout India attended the course, which was performed by six specialists of their respective fields. Dr. Janhavi Mishra Rawat, Professor at Graphic Period College, Dehradun, educated members in plant tissue tradition, whereas Dr. Okay. Hima Bindhu, Principal Scientist at ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru, defined hydroponics and soilless cultivation. Dr. D. Kalaivanan, Senior Scientist at ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru, demonstrated cocoponics and good cultivation practices, whereas Dr. Kunal A. Kale, Assistant Professor at Bajaj Faculty of Science, Wardha, shared propagation and conservation strategies. Dr. Saroj Kumar V., Assistant Professor at Kerala Agricultural College, Kollam, highlighted Vrikshayurveda and its propagation strategies, and S. Premlata, Agricultural Knowledgeable, educated members on natural farming and soil well being.
Throughout this system, members obtained hands-on coaching in grafting, layering, soil analysis, and the preparation of natural manures and vermicompost, in addition to studied success tales of medicinal farming. AYURFARM 2025 supplied intensive sensible publicity and scientific coaching aligned with Good Cultivation Practices (GCP), enabling members to grasp fashionable propagation strategies whereas remaining rooted in conventional Ayurvedic data.
