Chief of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has praised as “distinctive” the sacrifices of Iran’s prime anti-terror commander Lieutenant Normal Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated alongside his companions in a 2020 US drone assault in Iraq.
“Martyr Soleimani’s fixed technique was to revive the Resistance Entrance. He all the time tried to revitalize the resistance,” the Chief stated on Wednesday.
Ayatollah Khamenei was talking at a gathering with a bunch of households of martyrs, veterans, and resistance activists forward of Normal Soleimani’s fifth martyrdom anniversary on January 3.
The Chief described the highest Iranian commander’s position within the battle towards terrorism as “matchless” and said his sacrifices and companies “should stay in our political teachings”.
He added defending the holy websites was a “tenet” for Martyr Soleimani, who invariably referenced Iran as a “sacred shrine”.
“If these lives had not been misplaced, if this battle had not been fought, and if Hajj Qassem Soleimani had not marched by the mountains and deserts of this area so bravely…, there can be no signal of those holy websites right now,” the Chief stated.
Underlining that the developments previously few years and defending the holy shrines in Iraq, Syria and throughout the area show that the Islamic Revolution is “alive”, Ayatollah Khamenei promised that “the reality entrance” will certainly emerge victorious.
“Lebanon is an emblem of resistance, it is going to be victorious, [and] Yemen is an emblem of resistance, it is going to be victorious,” he added.
