MONROEVILLE, Ala. (WSFA) – Alabama native and best-selling novelist Ace Atkins might be offered the 2026 Harper Lee Award, The Monroeville Literary Pageant introduced Monday.

The award acknowledges the lifetime achievements of an creator both born in Alabama or one with a robust connection to the state, and is among the prime southern literature awards.
Ace Atkins is an award-winning, New York Occasions bestselling creator who has written greater than 30 novels and quite a few quick tales.
“I’m past honored and thrilled to be receiving this award.
