An assailant poured a liquid over a girl on a tram in jap Germany on Sunday and set her on hearth, police stated. The girl was taken to a hospital with life-threatening accidents, whereas the attacker fled.
Police stated no different folks have been harm within the incident within the jap metropolis of Gera, German information company dpa reported. Passengers stopped the tram by urgent an emergency button, and the assailant took the chance to flee.
The tram driver instantly started to extinguish the flames, and the 46-year-old lady was taken to a hospital by helicopter.
Police have been trying to find the assailant. It wasn’t instantly clear what prompted the assault, or what precisely the liquid was.
