    Atlantic sargassum belt: Seaweed bloom affecting coast of Florida

    Annually, a bloom of seaweed develops off the central coast of Africa and surges westward.
    Fueled by river runoff, it will definitely makes its method to the Caribbean and the coast of the Americas.
    However scientists say piles of the decomposing algae has excessive ranges of flesh-eating micro organism.
