With spacecraft thrusters at prime heart,
the rugged floor of the Moon lies beneath the
Blue Ghost
lander on this house age
video body.
The view of the lunar far facet was captured by the
Firefly Aerospace lunar lander on February 24,
following a maneuver to circularize its
orbit about 100 kilometers above the lunar floor.
The robotic lunar lander is
scheduled to
contact down
tomorrow, Sunday, March 2,
at 3:34am Jap Time within the
Mare Crisium impact basin
on the lunar close to facet.
In assist of the
Artemis campaign,
Blue Ghost is about to ship science and know-how
experiments to the Moon,
a part of NASA’s Industrial Lunar Payload Providers program.
Blue Ghost’s mission
on the floor is deliberate
to function through the lunar daytime on the touchdown website,
about 14 Earth days.
