Unusually vivid galaxies noticed by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), referred to as “little purple dots”, might have extra stars packed into them than every other galaxies we all know of. The density seems so excessive that it’s unclear how the celebrities even survive with out crashing into their neighbours, difficult astronomers’ finest concepts of how galaxies grow.
