Artpace, a residency program in San Antonio, has introduced Ian Gerson, Elana Herzog, and Goldie Poblador as its Fall 2025 Worldwide Artists-in-Residence.
The autumn residents have been chosen by Visitor Curator Regine Basha. Ms. Basha is a curator, cultural producer, and marketing consultant, who has labored in Texas, Montreal, Los Angeles, and New York, the place she was Director of Residences at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn. Ian Gerson is a queer and trans interdisciplinary artist and educator born and based mostly in Houston, TX. Working on the intersections of sculpture, set up, and group engagement, their work investigates local weather injustices, trans consciousness, and queer longing. Mx.
