Argentina’s authorities, led by President Javier Milei, is going through criticism from human rights campaigners for allegedly trying to suppress the reality about atrocities dedicated throughout the nation’s army dictatorship over 40 years in the past. Campaigners worry that these cuts are eroding efforts to protect and confront the legacy of the dictatorship’s abuses.
