    Delhi College: ABVP has claimed that the trainer misbehaved with college students, utilizing abusive language and performing with political bias.

    After CCTV footage of Delhi College College students’ Union joint secretary and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) member Deepika Jha slapping a trainer at DU’s Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar School (BARC) brought on outrage amongst academics, ABVP has defended its member and shifted blame on the trainer.

The teacher assaulted on Thursday was a part of a disciplinary committee wanting right into a earlier case of alleged assault by ABVP towards a member of the Congress-affiliated Nationwide College students Union of India (NSUI).

    ABVP has demanded that the school administration conduct a disciplinary inquiry towards the trainer and has blamed the police for “inaction”.

    The assertion has drawn criticism from academics. “Now ABVP is placing all allegations on the trainer who was slapped and defending Deepika Jha. That is unacceptable,” mentioned a regulation school trainer.

The members additionally allegedly manhandled a number of academics and pressured them to demand the resignation of the convener of the disciplinary committee.

    Now, ABVP calls for a “honest and neutral inquiry”.
