Paws of Struggle service canines Storm and Tucker symbolically tied the knot Friday on the Smithtown Touchdown.
Their story started within the group’s service canine coaching courses. That is the place handlers Michael Sweeney and Stefan Hespeler grew to become mates.
They are saying the ceremony celebrates the distinctive bond between canines and veterans.
“She’s taken me out of dangerous locations and I am without end grateful, and I can not give again sufficient to Paws of Struggle and to Storm for what they’ve achieved for me,” Sweeney mentioned.
Paws of Struggle and Operation Vest co-planned the marriage.
