Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) The Sangamon County Division of Public Well being is providing flu vaccines beginning September 23, at their predominant Springfield location at 2833 South Grand Avenue East.
Hours for the walk-in clinics are:
- Mondays: 8:30 a.m. to six:30 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Thursdays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Fridays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Everybody six months and older is advisable to get an annual flu shot. The standard flu season is from October to Might.
Accepted insurances embrace Medicare Half B, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Aetna, Humana, Cigna, Molina, Meridian, United Healthcare and Healt Alliance.
