Voters in Chile have overwhelmingly rejected a brand new structure which was as a consequence of change the one drawn up underneath Gen Augusto Pinochet’s navy rule.
In a referendum, nearly 62% voted in opposition to the progressive draft.
Chile’s President Gabriel Boric, who had backed the brand new structure, mentioned he would work with Congress and civil society to provide you with a “new constitutional course of”.
