    Sung Kang made his “Quick & Livid” debut within the 2006 film “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.”

    And this month, the actor, identified for taking part in Han Lue within the big-screen motion franchise, is asking New Jersey locals to hitch him as he movies his newest film, “Drifter.”

    Kang might be filming Saturday, Aug. 23 and Sunday, Aug. 24 at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown as a part of Legends of Drift.

    The occasion is billed as a drifting competitors, automobile present and film set all rolled into one celebration of automobile tradition.

    Drifting, not like automobile racing, is centered on choreographed swerving and sliding. The game acquired its begin in Japan.

    The drifting sequence Formula Drift has referred to as Raceway Park and different native tracks house.

    Kang is each starring in and directing “Drifter,” which he calls his “dream challenge.”

    Kang made his personal directorial debut in 2022 with the horror comedy “Shaky Shivers.”

    His TV roles embrace John Mak, the assistant U.S. lawyer within the Starz sequence “Power” and “Power Book II: Ghost,” and The Fifth Brother within the Disney+ “Star Wars” sequence “Obi-Wan Kenobi” (2022).

    In 2020, Kang began a YouTube channel and podcast referred to as “Sung’s Garage.”
