A Winnipeg man police have described as a ‘prolific shoplifter’ is in custody dealing with 28 expenses in reference to greater than $27,000 in stolen property over a two-month interval.
Police stated they’ve linked the 31-year-old suspect to greater than 20 separate incidents — most of which had been thefts of merchandise from Winnipeg companies — between Could and July of this 12 months. Nobody was injured in any of the incidents.

The person was arrested close to Keewatin Road and Logan Avenue on the night of July 31, and has been charged with 20 counts of theft beneath $5,000, two counts of theft, 4 counts of failing to adjust to launch situations, and a break, enter and theft cost.
