Principal Asset Administration Chief International Strategist Seema Shah says the US election and bipartisan anti-China coverage rhetoric is prone to weigh on Chinese language equities regardless that valuations are “already very low cost.” A rising refrain of world companies have downgraded their expectations for China’s inventory market in the previous couple of weeks – most not too long ago JPMorgan which adopted related strikes by former China bulls UBS Wealth Administration and Nomura. Principal has held an underweight stance on China since August 2023.
