    France has despatched rescue employees to the Indian Ocean Island of Mayotte the place officers say a number of hundred persons are feared lifeless after Cyclone Chido made landfall.
    It is the worst cyclone in almost a century to strike the French abroad territory.
    And the UN says almost two million individuals residing within the storm’s projected path may very well be affected in neighbouring Mozambique and Malawi.
