Israeli occupation authorities have stepped up the demolition of Palestinian properties in occupied East Jerusalem. 1,500 Palestinians dwelling within the Silwan neighborhood at the moment are being threatened with displacement. In accordance with the Jerusalem Governorate, house demolition is only one of many instruments Israeli authorities use to make life there insufferable for Palestinians.
