In Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture, a large sound sculpture designed to let guests expertise sound resonance was accomplished, and a gap occasion was held on June twenty first.

Named “ONKAI,” the sculpture displays the musical scale of conventional Japanese gagaku. It was created over roughly 9 years by German artist Lukas Kühne, with the help of native and worldwide engineers and craftsmen.

The set up consists of ten concrete columns of various sizes organized in a row. When guests step inside, they will take pleasure in the way in which voices and sounds reverberate all through the construction.
