South Korea is observing seven days of mourning for the victims of Sunday’s Jeju Air airplane crash that killed 179 individuals within the southern metropolis of Muan.
The airplane caught hearth after belly-landing on the runway and hitting a barrier.
Authorities investigating the crash say the pilot made a Mayday emergency name after mentioning a chicken strike, minutes earlier than touchdown.
The nation has now introduced a complete inspection of its Boeing 737-800 fleet.
