A 14-year-old boy who died after being stabbed in north Manchester on Sunday has been named as Ibrahima Seck.
Ibrahima’s mother and father paid tribute to their son on Monday as a “humorous, caring and hardworking” boy, who was “so smiley and at all times made everyone giggle”.
He was discovered with stab wounds as officers responded to studies of a critical assault on Nevin Street in New Moston at round 5pm on Sunday.

In an announcement, Detective Chief Inspector Tony Platten stated: “Firstly, the drive and I wish to cross on our condolences to Ibrahima’s family members and we’ll proceed to help them at this unhappy time.
“This incident that has seen a younger boy sadly die has understandably rocked the local people in New Moston.
“We now have made important headway within the investigation which has seen us arrest one other suspect on suspicion of homicide, that takes the arrest complete as much as 5 and we’re persevering with with questioning these suspects in the present day.
