Mike Johnson is sworn in by Rep. Hal Rogers, R-Ky., dean of the Home. Dean of the Home is the longest-serving member. Rogers, 87, was elected in 1981.
Johnson later laid out GOP priorities within the new Congress, in tandem with the Trump White Home. Johnson emphasised that the Republicans’ aim is to implement an “America First” agenda.
