    Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah to launch UAE’s first cross-emirate adventure trail, ET TravelWorld

    In a landmark transfer for journey tourism within the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and Fujairah Adventures have introduced a partnership to determine the nation’s first cross-emirate journey path. The settlement was signed through the Fujairah International Conference on Journey Tourism, held within the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

    The brand new path goals to attach Ras Al Khaimah’s mountainous terrain, together with Jebel Jais and its suite of mountaineering and journey experiences, with Fujairah’s community of wadis, heritage trails, and coastal hikes. The initiative will assist sustainable tourism by highlighting pure and cultural property, encouraging group participation, and preserving biodiversity throughout each emirates.

    Brent Anderson, Chief Business Officer, RAKTDA, stated: “This collaboration isn’t nearly increasing our tourism choices – it’s about creating significant connections between landscapes, communities, and cultures in methods we’ve by no means seen earlier than.”

    Ras Al Khaimah’s contribution contains Jebel Jais’s 97km mountaineering community and its Rim Path, a 40km route that includes the UAE’s longest balcony stroll. These can be complemented by Fujairah’s choices such because the Altaybbah Historic Route, the Seven Summits Hike, and trails like Ain Al Sheria and Wadi Al Dahir, that are identified for his or her geological options and petroglyphs.

    Amr Zein Eddin, Supervisor of Fujairah Adventures, stated: “This MoU represents a strategic step towards strengthening the journey tourism panorama within the UAE. We improve our collective presence on the worldwide stage whereas preserving the distinctive id of every vacation spot.”

    The partnership arrives as journey tourism beneficial properties momentum within the area, with estimates inserting its potential worth at AED 30 million by 2030. The sector is projected to develop at a fee of 10–15% yearly, contributing considerably to the Center East’s tourism income.

    This initiative follows RAKTDA’s earlier collaboration with Oman’s Musandam Governorate, reinforcing its technique of growing cross-border tourism corridors. By integrating choices throughout emirates, the brand new path positions Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah as central gamers within the area’s rising journey tourism ecosystem.
