A four-foot-long caiman has been seized by police throughout a search of a property in Essex.
The reptile, which has now been handed over to the RSPCA, was discovered by officers executing a warrant at an deal with in Aveley, close to Grays, on Thursday.
A big hashish haul and several other weapons, together with knives, have been additionally found and seized.
Two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of medication and weapons offences, Essex Police stated.
A 36-year-old man, from Purfleet, was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing of hashish, contravention of the damaging wildlife act and possession of an offensive weapon.
