Tens of hundreds of individuals in Slovakia are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Robert Fico.
They accuse him of searching for nearer ties with Russia.
The protests started after he met Vladimir Putin in Moscow – making him one of many few EU leaders to go to Russia, since its battle on Ukraine.
