A cyclone in California which has brought on floods, rockslides and left neighbourhoods underwater is now transferring to the north of the state.
Greater than 4.5 million Californians had been beneath flood watches early on Wednesday, with hundreds nonetheless displaced. The specter of flooding is to stay in place till Friday.
At the very least 18 flood-related deaths have been reported within the state since storms started in late December.
