Organized in cooperation with the Ministry of House Affairs of Tanzania, TİKA, and Konya Metropolitan Municipality (KMM), the coaching program was carried out by the skilled employees of the KMM Fireplace Division between April 7 and 17, 2025.
The coaching was attended by 35 personnel from the Fireplace and Rescue Drive working underneath the Tanzanian Ministry of House Affairs. The contributors have been skilled each theoretically and virtually in fundamental firefighting, fireplace response, first help, site visitors accident rescue, city search and rescue, particles security, and rope-based rescue strategies.
Concurrently with the coaching, TİKA offered the Dar es Salaam Fireplace Division with search and rescue gear, together with turbines, rescue stretchers, private protecting gear, fall arrest gadgets, and specialised chopping instruments.
As a part of this system, the ceremony for the gear handover was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Tanzania, Bekir Gezer, the Common Commissioner of the Tanzanian Fireplace and Rescue Drive, John William Masunga, the Fireplace Division Head of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Ibrahim Navruz, and the TİKA Dar es Salaam Coordinator, Filiz Şahinci.
Common Commissioner Masunga expressed gratitude to Türkiye for the contribution of the coaching to the catastrophe administration method and for TİKA’s gear assist. Fireplace Division Head Navruz emphasised that this system has was not solely a switch of data but additionally a sustainable bridge of brotherhood.
TİKA Dar es Salaam Coordinator Şahinci, in her speech, acknowledged that the second section of this system can be held in Türkiye within the format of a “Coaching of Trainers”, contributing to the dissemination of the acquired information by the Tanzanian personnel of their nation.
