    A high UN official believes progress is being made in the direction of reversing bans on ladies participating in public life in Afghanistan.

    It comes as a delegation led by Deputy Secretary-Basic Amina Mohammed has ended a four-day go to, assembly with senior Taliban officers in Kabul to debate support programmes and the participation of ladies.  

    However the nation can also be going through an financial disaster. The demise toll in Afghanistan from an unprecedented chilly wave has risen to 78 as temperatures in lots of elements of the nation fell to -30 °C.  

    Snowstorms have pressured the closure of many key highways and roads, hampering the supply of support.
