Diaspora nationals in Angola, the Netherlands, the US, Norway, and Egypt have carried out public diplomacy actions in reference to Worldwide Girls’s Day, 8 March, below the theme “Girls: Emancipation for All-Rounded Growth.”
In Angola, celebratory occasions have been held within the cities of Luanda, Lubango, Cabinda, Benguela, and Huambo, whereas within the Netherlands, festivities befell in Rotterdam and Leiden. The occasions featured varied packages highlighting the importance of the day.
Likewise, nationals within the Norwegian cities of Oslo, Stavanger, Trondheim, Kristiansand, Tromsø, Gjøvik, Hamar, Jotunheim, and others colorfully celebrated Worldwide Girls’s Day with nice enthusiasm.
Nationals within the US cities of Minnesota, Michigan, and Indiana, together with these in Cairo, Egypt, commemorated the day with patriotic zeal.
