Register for the Agriculture and Meals Science Exploration (AFSE) Day

Mower County 4-H, Riverland Group Faculty, and Nexus Cooperative have partnered to supply the 4th Annual Agriculture and Meals Science Exploration (AFSE) Day on Wednesday, July 9. This program is for youth in grades six and over and is a superb alternative for anybody all for agriculture and meals science careers.
Through the day, contributors will study how agriculture, meals, diet and well being are all linked. Youth will discover attainable careers in agronomy, animal science, and meals science by collaborating in partaking excursions and hands-on studying labs. Actions embody:
• Native farm excursions to study agronomy and animal science
• Corn/Alfalfa/Drone Discipline Actions
• Animal science actions
• Find out about agriculture and human diet on the Hormel Institute
• Arms-on meals science lab with the Hormel Meals Analysis and Growth group
• Program Commencement Ceremony
