Punjab Engineering Faculty (Deemed to be College), Chandigarh, has acquired the Promotion of College Analysis and Scientific Excellence (PURSE) grant of Rs 7.5 crore from the Division of Science and Expertise, Authorities of India.
The announcement was made in the course of the Nationwide Science Day celebrations organised at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
A group led by Vasundhara Singh, comprising about 15 school members, had submitted the analysis proposal, which secured the funding. Rajesh Okay Bhatia, director (ad-interim), together with Umesh Sharma, dean SRIC, Vasundhara Singh, Arun Kumar Singh, Ravinder Singh Walia and Sandeep Kumar, acquired the facilitation from the Minister of Science and Expertise on the occasion.
The grant is predicted to strengthen the establishment’s analysis ecosystem, supporting school and college students in advancing scientific innovation.
Bhatia highlighted the significance of encouraging younger school members to take up impactful analysis initiatives and reaffirmed the institute’s dedication to educational excellence and technological progress.
