Police have surrounded the house of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan, claiming he was sheltering dozens of individuals allegedly concerned in violent protests in opposition to his current detention.
The police deployment on Wednesday may anger Khan’s many followers and raised issues about extra clashes between his supporters and the safety forces. Final week, Khan supporters had attacked public property and army installations after he was dragged out of a courtroom and detained.
