Michigan’s Democratic lawyer normal is looking for a particular prosecutor to analyze her Donald Trump-backed challenger after discovering proof linking him to a doubtlessly felony plot to grab and tamper with voting machines used within the 2020 election, in response to a letter obtained by CNN and paperwork launched Monday by the lawyer normal’s workplace.
For months, the Michigan State Police and the lawyer normal’s workplace have been investigating a collection of voting machine breaches that passed off in a number of counties across the state final 12 months. Based on the paperwork launched, that probe has led investigators to Kalamazoo-based lawyer Matthew DePerno, a Republican candidate working towards incumbent Michigan Lawyer Normal Dana Nessel.
