Probably the most highly effective storms on file has introduced widespread landslides and flooding to southern Malawi.
It’s claimed the lives of a minimum of 190 individuals and tens of hundreds have been made homeless.
Malawi’s business hub, Blantyre, has recorded many of the deaths, 158, together with dozens of youngsters.
The federal government has declared a state of catastrophe in 10 southern districts which have been hardest-hit by the storm.
Rescue employees are overwhelmed, and are utilizing shovels to attempt to discover survivors buried in mud.
