World leaders, together with US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have welcomed the Worldwide Prison Courtroom’s (ICC) determination to problem Vladimir Putin with an arrest warrant.
The Russian president has been alleged of committing warfare crimes, together with the unlawful switch of tons of of Ukrainian youngsters to Russia.
However, whereas Mr Putin may now be arrested if he units foot in any of the courtroom’s 123 member states, it’s extremely unlikely that a lot will come of the transfer, because the ICC has no powers to arrest suspects with out the co-operation of a rustic’s authorities.
