The top of social media app TikTok is predicted to provide proof to the US Congress on Thursday over safety considerations.
Shou Zi Chew is more likely to face questions on TikTok’s relationship with the Chinese language state, what information it collects and what it does with it.
He’ll even be quizzed on why a number of journalists have been spied on by ByteDance staff – one thing TikTok has already admitted.
Mr Chew will say person information is secure – away from the attain of the Chinese language authorities.
