Patti Smith will carry out her debut album Horses in full on tour to have fun the LP’s 50 anniversary. The tour will function function guitarist Lenny Kaye and drummer Jay Dee Daugherty, each of whom performed on the unique 1975 recording.
The anniversary trek will kick off on Oct. 6 at Dublin’s 3Arena, with dates in Madrid, Bergamo, Brussels, Oslo, London, and Paris. Smith will head to the U.S. the next month, with reveals starting Nov. 10 at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre. The U.S. section can even cease in Oakland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Boston, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
Smith’s band will embrace Kaye and Daugherty, in addition to keyboardist/bassist Tony Shanahan, who has toured along with her for thirty years, and guitarist Jackson Smith. A press launch notes, “Please be part of us to assist have fun the ultimate journey of our irreverent thoroughbred.”

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday Feb. 14. A pre-sale begins Feb. 12.
