Boris Johnson, the UK’s former prime minister who was in energy in the course of the pandemic, intentionally misled parliament over lockdown-breaking events in Downing Road, a parliamentary committee dominated on Thursday.
After a yearlong investigation, the committee mentioned Johnson would have been suspended as an MP for 90 days for “repeated” contempt of parliament had he not angrily resigned final week.
