Russia-appointed officers in Kherson and Crimea say a Ukrainian missile has hit a bridge connecting the 2 areas.
The Chonhar bridge is named the “gate to Crimea” that Russia annexed in 2014. Crimea’s governor recommended the bridge was struck by British Storm Shadow missiles on Tuesday.
Russia’s defence minister mentioned the Ukrainian forces had been planning to assault Crimea with NATO’s equipped weapons.
