The Home Methods and Means Committee now has six years of Donald Trump’s federal tax returns, ending a yearslong pursuit by Democrats to dig into one of many former president’s most carefully guarded private particulars.
“Treasury has complied with final week’s court docket choice,” a Treasury spokesperson informed CNN on Wednesday.
The spokesperson didn’t present any further info. Federal courts had determined the Home might request six years of Trump’s returns, after the committee had requested them in 2019 and once more in 2021, in line with public court docket information. CNN’s Jessica Schneider reviews.
