For the primary time in Iran’s aviation historical past, a flight carrying an all-female crew and 110 outstanding Iranian ladies landed at Mashhad Worldwide Airport, northeastern Iran.
The flight, named “Iran Banoo,” was piloted by Captain Shahrazad Shams, Iran’s first feminine pilot.
The Aseman Airways flight touched down at 10:15 AM at Shahid Hasheminejad Worldwide Airport in Mashhad on Sunday, coinciding with the beginning anniversary of Hazrat Fatimah Zahra, the daugther of Prophet Mohammad, marked as Mom’s Day and Girls’s Day in Iran.
The passengers, distinguished ladies excelling in varied fields, traveled to Mashhad to go to the holy shrine of Imam Reza, the eighth Shia Imam.
This milestone marks the primary all-women flight, each by way of passengers and crew, to land at Mashhad Worldwide Airport.
