Palestinians protesting in opposition to the enlargement of settlements have been attacked by the Israeli navy.
Villagers in Um Safa, north of Ramallah say troopers beat dozens of demonstrators, and used tear gasoline and stun grenades to disperse them.
That they had gathered to cease settlers seizing their land.
