Police in Laos have detained the supervisor and 7 different members of workers at a backpacker hostel following the deaths of six vacationers from suspected methanol poisoning.
The vacationers – two Australians, two Danes, an American and a British nationwide – died earlier this month after apparently consuming tainted alcohol within the city of Vang Vieng. A number of had been staying on the Nana Backpacker Hostel.
