The UN peacekeeping mission in Mali says the deteriorating safety state of affairs is forcing it to hurry up its withdrawal from the nation.
Per week in the past, six UN troops and dozens of fighters from an armed group have been killed in confrontations close to the town of Ber.
In June the Safety Council voted to terminate the decade-long mission, asserting the 13,000 peacekeepers would go away Mali by the top of the 12 months.
It adopted a request from the navy authorities, which accused the UN of failing to behave in opposition to armed teams.
So, how vital is the function of international gamers in stabilising Mali?
