When a lethal earthquake struck Morocco, Mosa’ab Elshamy, a photographer for the Related Press, was shaken away from bed. Moments later, he was taking photos. A couple of hours after that, he was within the Excessive Atlas Mountains, close to the epicenter of the quake. He described survivors lifting toppled buildings by hand, attempting to rescue who they may. So what else occurred in these first 24 essential hours after the quake, and what’s going to occur subsequent?
