A minimum of 29 troopers have been killed in an assault in western Niger, based on the nation’s defence ministry.
A 3-day nationwide mourning interval was declared within the nation on Tuesday over the incident that concerned “improvised explosive gadgets and kamikaze automobiles by greater than 100 terrorists”, based on a televised assertion made by the ministry on Monday evening.
It added that two troopers had been significantly wounded and “a number of dozen terrorists” had been additionally killed.
