In the USA, staff from Kaiser Permanente, a medical health insurance and hospital system that serves over 13 million individuals, have gone on strike.
Kaiser says it has “sturdy contingency plans to make sure members obtain secure, high-quality care”, however warns there shall be delays.
It’s the newest in a string of main labour strikes to hit the nation.
