The Colombian capital is marking the fiftieth anniversary of Ciclovia, also referred to as the Open Streets initiative.
Each Sunday roads are closed off to create space for cyclists and pedestrians.
The initiative which began as an anti-car protest in 1974, has been adopted by 400 cities worldwide.
