Police in British Columbia are sharing extra particulars about a powerful story of survival within the province’s Cariboo area.
Andrew Barber was discovered by search and rescue crews Friday, after a helicopter noticed his truck on a forest service street, resulting in crews honing in on the realm.
The 39 year-old had been final seen on July 28 close to Citadel Rock, west of the Fraser River between Quesnel and Williams Lake.
Employees Sergeant Brad McKinnon with the Williams Lake RCMP detachment shared an replace with International Information on Barber’s situation Saturday.
“I’m happy to announce that it seems like he’s going to be wholesome and completely okay.”
McKinnon says whereas the specifics round Barber’s journey are unclear, his automobile broke down on the agricultural street in late July.
“He took steps to shelter and survive and trusted that first responders engaged on the case would discover him and that’s precisely what occurred.”
